Recently purchased P2 cards and got excited about shooting 720p. So the last scene in the project is shot in 720p. I see the difference on the monitor regarding picture aspect ratio. Any suggestions into getting all of the aspect ratio's the same at this point in the project. Most of the editing is done. Final product will be a DVD. My sound is coming out of the mac audio out to a sound board and then speakers. Just a few frames off but enough to make clients wonder. What am I missing in this scenario. Jimby JimEllis - Café LA green screen keying - 16 years agoI have a client who would like to key his body over a graphic. If I shoot him infront of a green screen and bring the footage onto a timeline do I need to utilize any other software to super him over the graphic. Jimby JimEllis - Café LA Color artifacts from a pin stripe shirt - 16 years agoHey guys, Any filters in FCP version 6 that can take out the color artifacts that appear from a shot of someone wearing a blue and white pin stripe shirt. It doesn't look bad on a computor monitor but shows up badly on an NTSC monitor. Thanks, Jimby JimEllis - Café LA Boom Mic in shot - 16 years agoYes, I have done the unforgiveable. Any idea's on how to remove a boom mic out of a shot. Its dead center. The interviewer is to the left of it and the interviewee is to the right. Both the mic and the background are both dark grey. I understand FCP 6 can bring it in to edit but what does the final edited version look like? Someone told me it looks like crap but not sure he has tried it yet. Jimby JimEllis - Café LA best way to burn dvd's from timeline - 18 years agoI am using a G4, running osx10.3.9 duel gig, 1.5 gig ram, w/ fcp3 using western digital internal drives. I have been making dvd's by using the print to video function. Sending the signal out to my dv camera and then into a consumer sony recording deck. GX300. Then i finalize the disk in the DVD recorder. I have been getting calls that some dvd's are not playing while others play fine. I have trashed the preferences and reloaded FCP3 but that did not do it. I am experiencing the problem on all of my stored programs not just the one I am editing now. Viewing the program on a firewire fed monitor looks ok. Why are the canvas and viewer showing a delayed audio?by JimEllis - Café LA |
