Re: Mac Repair in O.C. - 13 years agoThanks, I'll give it a shot - but for giggles, no recommended repair facilities? If the reset doesn't work, I may try swapping out the video card... - not trying to spend a bunch of money if I don't absolutely have to. Thanks for your help. Is the mini that good? over a G5?by rlaslofy - Café LA Re: Mac Repair in O.C. - 13 years agoHate to think of it as old, but I know. No, I haven't tried the reset. Where is that at? Thank you. ~Ryby rlaslofy - Café LA Mac repair in OC - 13 years agoHello, I have a 7 year old G4 (mirror door) and when I try to edit on FCP or even start it up for that matter, I get these 1 inch thick vertical bars on the screen. Pretty sure it is not the monitor as I am running 2 (dual screen), think it is the video card. Where is the recommended place for repair in Orange County? I know Promax has been bought and moved. Don't know if they are the same..by rlaslofy - News and Announcements Mac repair in O.C. - 13 years agoHello, I have a 7 year old G4 (mirror door) and when I try to edit on FCP or even start it up for that matter, I get these 1 inch thick vertical bars on the screen.
