Capturing MiniDV through the SONY M15 VCR. - 9 years agoHi, The SONY M15 is a VCR player/recorder of MiniDV, HDV, DVCAM, etc. I wonder if I want to capture to the computer, will be enough the firewire connection? or do I also need to connect S video Out, audio an a converter like the Canopus? Other thing: the video components out, should I use them to capture video to the computer? First time I saw the option to record in 1080/60p. It's stated as the highest quality setting to record (PS). So, does it give the film look like in 1080/24p? However in 24p shows like lower quality (1080/14p FX). It's the 3rd. level of quality (not the best). What happen with this feature in FCP X? Is not important? why data rate is not visible anymore in the properties pane? or should I reach it in a different way? If I have 3 clips consecutive in a timeline, 1 - 2 - 3 (clip 2 inthe middle) and I delete the clip 2 with DELETE FWD key, the clip3 snaps back to be togheter with the the clip 1. De acuerdo, pero las "buenas lenguas" dicen que esas carencias las han encargado (o las van a encargar) a terceras partes que serían más especialistas en lo que desarrollen y por tanto tendríamos plug ins de alta calidad.
