Re: Anyone remember Cinema Tools? - 4 years agoHey Ben, Edit ready worked for me using the Re-wrap option, it created a new file at the desired frame rate almost instantaneously. I'm not familiar with batch conform in Resolve, are you saying it can do what I'm looking for without the need to spend a bunch of time exporting new files?by Joe Riggs - Café LA Re: Anyone remember Cinema Tools? - 4 years agoDidn't think of edit ready, good one Andrew. Not sure it can do what I want without have to export new files but I'll give it a shot.by Joe Riggs - Café LA Re: Anyone remember Cinema Tools? - 4 years agoThanks Ben, I'm in Resolve but I'm not looking to conform in the timeline for this particular project. I need new files on the drive at different framerates then what it was recorded at (again they can be sped up or slowed down to compensate), so Post can just use the files at the "corrected" frame rate and I'd prefer to not have to re export them. Therefore, a solution like cinemby Joe Riggs - Café LA Anyone remember Cinema Tools? - 4 years agoI'm looking for a program that convert (convert may not be the term) frame rates without the need to spend oodles of time exporting new files. For example 29.97fps to 23.976fps or vice versa and it slows or speeds up the file to compensate. Cinema tools use to due this with ease, bring your files in, change the frame rate and presto you have your files in that frame rate. Certainly all jobs are subject to low ballers but the offers I see on the typical online sites for post production are downright criminal. A production is usually more willing to spend dough on a DP, camera, lights, etc...(and I love a gorgeous looking film) However, a argument could be made that if a production'by Joe Riggs - Café LA Multicam sync method - Strypes? - 8 years agoHi Strypes, When using the multicam sync method to batch sync a bunch of takes, does the match frame feature act a little off? When I match frame my resulting synced multicam clips, select the section I want, then bring to the timeline, I get the sunk clip as well as the disabled/muted original audio. Instead of getting it in the neat and tidy multicam clip without the original auby Joe Riggs - Adobe Premiere Pro CC Project Manager CC 2015 - Trim? - 8 years agoI'm working with quicktime Pro Res media. In CS6, and in there if you wanted to "Trim" a project, it was a simple selection of that option. However, in CC 2015, I don't see a trim option, I see consolidate and transcode. All I want to do is archive a project to just the video used in the timeline. By worth it, I mean are you noticing any speed improvements as Apple claims? Also want to make sure it's still compatible with legacy versions of Premiere (CS6) and Final Cut 7, as I still use those frequently.by Joe Riggs - Café LA Re: Thunderbolt no longer works - 9 years agoThanks Nick, I tried that, still not working. I'll be taking it into Apple.by Joe Riggs - Café LA Thunderbolt no longer works - 9 years agoMy Thunderbolt stopped working out of the blue. I believe it is a hardware issue as I've tried various thunderbolt devices and cables and none work. Furthermore. Within the system info – I get “Thunderbolt: No hardware was found.” I tired resetting the pram and smc but none help. QT and VLC will skip frames when you go that fast, I'm hoping to find a player where I can see all the frames smoothly just at a much faster rate.by Joe Riggs - Café LA FCP7- sub frame nudging of audio? - 9 years agoIs it possible to nudge an audio file in the timline and incrments less than a frame?by Joe Riggs - Café LA Re: PR4444 requires render? - 9 years agoSolved - Alpha was set to white, needs to be set to ignore.by Joe Riggs - Café LA PR4444 requires render? - 9 years agoI received a PR4444 export from Resolve (on a mac based computer) and naturally I was expecting that I would be able to just pop into FCP7 and not have any render bar. Unfortunately, I end up with a green render bar, even if I let FCP7 choose the sequence settings based on the clip. This is adding hours of time to my renders (long file) and I can't figure out how not to get a green bar.
