In FCP 7 the effect works fine however in FCPX the video is bleeding through. Please see the image in my Dropbox folder --> Any suggestions how to set this up, what settings to change so the video in the circle is not bleeding outside the circle? As always, thanks in advance. How do I generate bars and tone when using FCPX? Bars and tone are a delivery requirement for one of the shows I edit and I'm not seeing the option in FCPX. I have several interview clips running anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes. I'd like to break up each long clip into sub-clips, making each potential soundbite a sub-clip and naming each sub-clip. The footage was shot on cards and all the clips have the assigned camera names (MVI_1156, MVI_1157, MVI_1158, etc.,...). I'd like to have a reference in my timeline as to what is being said in each clip. How do I go about doing this? Any recommendations on software to use for this besides media manager in FCP 7? The post house adds the closed captioning and satellites the show. 3 films are 23.98, 2 films are 29.97. I incorporate the short films, graphics, opening titles, end credits, commercial blacks, etc.,... to make up the 58:30 show. I want to toggle between multiple angles and 1-up on my broadcast monitor without going to the View drop down menu. Seems like I've done it in the past put I'm reaching a blank. I'm using a Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Monitor and Blackmagic said it's a setting within FCP7. Any suggestions? Thanks so much! What are the pros/cons of a matte finish? I've had a glossy finish for 10 years and it seems like the picture is not as vibrant on a matte finish. I do color correction and output for television broadcast. As always, thanks in advance.
