can't collapse clips - why? - 7 years agoI'm new to editing with Final Cut Pro 10.3. But I have used Premiere Pro and Final Cut Lite years ago. I expanded a clip to work on the audio tracks. Now I want to collapse the audio tracks, but there is no way to do that I can find. We shot with a Sony FX1 camera at 30 fps (HDV 1080, 60i). We shot double systems sound. Will the editor have any problem when he combines the sound and picture on his Final Cut Pro system? I just bought an iMac with Final Cut express HD. I need to learn how to do fine editing and make a DVD of my project. Is there a book which can help me learn how to do basic things like that? Thanks.
