Pause in Captured Video - 11 years agoHello! I'm dealing with some video captured by a flaky camera; well, actually from a flaky video feed I guess. The data coming into the camera seem to be filling up a buffer or something, causing the captured video to 'freeze' every 15-20 seconds or so. Pretty frustrating. Does anyone know of a way in which this kind of thing can be cleaned up? I've been pretty frustrated with the quality of subtitle text in DVD Studio (I'm currently using v.3). No matter what, it just doesn't seem of very high quality; because of the lack of antialiasing from what I hear around the forums out there. I've been doing some noodling, and I might have hit on a workaround. I'm using Belle-Nuit Subtitler for spotting, and that can output both graphics and STL text files. So, I guess I could have DVDSP import an STL text file and let DVD Studio create the "dialogue" subtitles at the bottom of the screen.
