Re: Viewing in FCP 7 while typing in Word - 9 years agoyou can add marker in the Timeline with a keyboard stroke and write comments in the marker interface without stopping, I do it all the time. (check the Keyboard interface for the fonction, it's oddly called ... something like "Modify colored marker " if memory serve. then you can export the markers and... copy&paste ! You must pre-install QuickTime 7 with proper installer before install Fcp Studio 2009 (Fcp7) over Mavericks or Yosemite. But things won't go smoothly anyway. (Motion 4, Compressor 3) and forget the "old" QMaster. Youre better off with Compressor 4 and "actual" QMaster anyway. Fcp 7.0.0 (which I always considered as a "Fcp 6.5.0" ) is perfectly compatible with PPC machines. Apple just introduced a filter in the installer apparently at the last minute before release. Last Fcp Studio 2009 won't even apply. Stays to Fcp 7.0 won't launch as 7.0.3 I guess this is the end of the road... so I keep a way to boot with Snow Leopard. You work on Fcp7 ? Use Motion 4 ! Use the paint tool to recover your writed image .
