I've watched the Sony tutorial and read a few articles online re; workflow. I have a G5, 2.3 Ghz PowerPC w/5 gigs ram running FCP 6 and a 2.5 GHz Intel Macbook Pro w/ 4 GB ram running FCP 7. Will either of these systems work okay with this footage? How much drive space would I need for a 3 hour interviby Lisha - Café LA Re: make video look like a painting - 12 years agoThanks Russ!!! When viewing in Quicktime the movie plays fine. When I import in Final Cut Pro the film strobes in certain points. The strobing is not constant. I tried exporting a few seconds of the film where it's strobing in order to provide an example, but when I exported the file from Final Cut Pro and played back in Quicktime the strobing is notby Lisha - Café LA Re: Python -- What are your thoughts? - 12 years agoI HEARD that Python was going to be released at the end of the month and it would shut up everyone not happy with the FCP X release. Lishaby Lisha - Café LA Facebook logo on TV show - 13 years agoHello to all, There's been some talk in the office about putting the FB and Twitter logos in our end credits to draw traffic to our FB and Twitter pages. Are any of you doing this or do you know of any shows doing this? Thanks so much!!! Peace, Lishaby Lisha - Café LA Re: DVD specs for submitted footage - 13 years agoThanks Derek. It amazes me as well. We've been airing footage pulled from DVDs for about 2 years now. The trend started with 1 or 2 record labels, but now it seems as if most of the record labels, at least for the genre we deal with, are sending DVDs. At times I ask for tape and the response is as if I'M the crazy one. I'm trying to avoid receiving DVDs which are so compressed that there's absolby Lisha - Café LA DVD specs for submitted footage - 13 years agoHello to all, I secure content for a nationally syndicated TV show with the footage being provided by record labels, publicists, recording artist, etc.,... They were going to have to pay me or Comcast. It was easier to simply have Comcast do the encode so I could keep my focus on the editing. :-) Peace, Lishaby Lisha - Compressor - Media Compression and Conversion Re: specs for delivery of Quicktime files - 13 years agoOh my goodness! Derek, that is EXACTLY what someone did! Babysitting it is.
