Not in front of FCP right now, but maybe try clearing your marks then ONLY mark in before making the multiclip?by marcus_sg - Café LA Re: Placing clips on timeline to correspond with media start/end times - 12 years agoLol, yeah, 8months too late, but done mainly for our Google audience out there. I was looking for something like Avid's Autosequence, and it's right there in FCP. I'm working on a 10 camera shoot, with double system sound. I used Make Multiclip sequence to lay up cameras 1-10 over one another in in giant timeline. I then mark sections of the timeline to group. I then match frame, clear marks thenby marcus_sg - Café LA Re: Placing clips on timeline to correspond with media start/end times - 12 years agoOld thread I know, but Im looking for the same solution, easy-style. What about selecting all the clips in the bin and choosing Make Mutliclip Sequence? Yes, It make Multiclips with one angle, but maybe that's enough for your use?by marcus_sg - Café LA Re: Avid training for an FCP user? - 12 years ago404 Avid Tutorials basic Avid Tutorials Series 1 basic Avid tutorials Series 2 Avid Screencast HDby marcus_sg - Avid Media Composer Re: Preparing for FCPX whitepaper - 12 years agoHey Torrey, I sent you a PM. To answer the OP's question and my curiosity as well, because I'm in a similar situation, would anybody be kind enough to post a sample contract? So much of work I do has been 'on good faith' unless I freelance work for a facility in which case they have you sign a contract they have drawn up.by marcus_sg - Café LA Re: Final Cut Pro X - still Pro - 13 years ago:-? Guess we'll have to wait and see. Thanks Andy. Love your plugins btwby marcus_sg - Café LA - X Re: Freelancer Q:- Tape vs Tapeless projects . . . - 13 years agoI see where this is going. The whole freak out over L&C being "gone" from FCP-X. No body not under NDA knows that yet. How do you feel about the possibility of it being gone though? Would a 3rd party solution be enough for you or will this raise the ire of FCP editors everywhere?by marcus_sg - Café LA Re: fix the Autosave function on FCPX - 13 years agoAnybody experience , like me, the ASV just not actually working. Set the period, wait for an autosave. Nothing... Might all be moot anyway with the release of Lion with "Autosave" and "Versions" from Apple's website: "Autosave" Say good-bye to manual saving. Auto Save in Mac OS X Lion automatically saves your work ? while you work ? so you don?t have to. A couple of interesting posts I saw elsewhere: "Great discussion. I thought the new iMovie (8 and up) was junk too... until I started using it. It's a completely different animal than the current NLE timeline, it is made for editorial work. It lets you get your story organized and cut quickly.
