Editor needed for sci-fi/action feature shot on RED - 12 years agoPeter Bohush here. Director, co-producer, co-writer of the sci-fi/action feature film Broken Spirits, shot on the RED MX. I have begun the editing process, but have some other directing gigs coming up and need to bring in an editor to help cut this feature film. Assistant editor also needed. We have gotten several distribution offers at AFM, so we need to get first picture lock w/in about 60-7by BigPete - Jobs Premiere Pro bug? merge clips loses audio track 2 - 12 years agoOverall I'm really liking Premiere Pro 5.5. Wonderfully easy to work with native 4k RED files. Wish more of the filters worked in it instead of only in AE. But then I found what appears to be another bug that's cost me hours and hours of time... If you Modify>Audio Channels and change a stereo sound file to dual mono, then sync it with picture using Merge Clips, you will lose the audio on Tby BigPete - Adobe Premiere Pro CC Re: Help request: Black line in rescaled video in Premiere Pro 5.5? - 12 years agoMore confusion... I imported a FCP file (via XML) into PPro and all looked well... until I rendered the files. Then again the mysterious aspect ratio bogey set in, and I can't eliminate it. Don't know if that tiny difference would make a difference though?) I'm editing a 2.333:1 widescreen sequence at 2240x960, which is half the size of the native Red files that make up most of the project. However, I need to use some Red and DSLR footage that was shot in other aspect ratios, such as 16x9. When I upscale the 1920x1080 video to fit my sequence settings, it looks okay UNTILby BigPete - Adobe Premiere Pro CC Re: FCPX 10.0.1 is out - 12 years agoRuss Blaise Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > > > > Yes, Larry Jordan has. Good info posted by Larry. But hardly the mea culpa from Apple that many were expecting, admitting that FCPX was rushed to market incomplete and unusable in professional environs. If any other company had released this app the editing community would have dismissed it outright as a non-professional app, and rightly so. I thought it was a joke when people called it iMovie Pro, but it really is. That would have been a smarteby BigPete - Café LA - X |
