The price in LA seems to be pretty constant at around $350 each. Ouch! I can rent two betacam decks for less than the $1,750 that adds up to. Anyone know of a more competitive solution -- even if I have to drive outside LA? Or, anyone got a source to rent 2 Digibeta decks? Have done a lot of work with FotoKem in the past, and always gotten good results. But this project will be on a tight budget so I want to explore other options that will get me more HD telecine hours for the same price. FotoKem is around $400/hr. Any suggestions on alternatives doing HD telecine/color correction? Thanks in advance foby digitonium - Café LA Re: Digitizing from D5 - 16 years agoA lot.
