Re: De-interlace advice - 16 years agoI've used Graeme's Smart De-Interlacer and it works very well taking the "live edge" off of video when I shoot 29.97 interlaced. Do you know why the sound doesn't work in FCP when the camera is connected to firewire? On my older mac, I can at least hear when playing the timeline and viewer. Is it the MAcBookPro connections that don't allow the sound? I don't remember FC ever playing sound during capture so it's not a native "problem" to MacBook Pros. First (after watching the video tutorial), I like how some of the tools can be adjusted right in the preview window in the Looks Builder (Spot Exposure etc.). Having never owned MB, I had a ? or two.... or three. MB is a plug-in, so the Looks Builder is an interface that pops up to make the adjustments easier? Mike, the table will mosty likely be built so we're working to that hurdle. And yeah, we are trying to get those logistics thought through. Ben, I saw that software that you linked in another thread, and yeah, perhaps that's the way we could capture it. How would you capture something like this? Commentating would be done in post, so we just need to know how we would capture those cards. The pistol on the left uses stock footage muzzle flashes, and the rifle on the right uses a preset within the muzzle flash engine. Hope this helps.by Darren - Café LA |
