Re: Tascam FW-1082 with FCS2? - 14 years agoI have the deck and it works fine if there are only FW 400 drives plugged in as soon as FW 800 drives are plugged along with the 400's it stops working and drives unmount I have the Tascam plugged in to the MacPro's main FW port and other drives in a PCIe card. So I mainly use SATA drives and FW 400 together or I unplug any FW 400 then plug in my FW 800 drives when needed.by Dean - Café LA Re: Apple on Monday released QuickTime 7.6.2 - 14 years agoQuoteSo I should feel more secure that Apple didn't muck something up? Oh Shoot I need to get the winner pictures to Dan andby Dean - Café LA Re: Burning FCE projects to DVD using AVCHD footage-having issues - 15 years agoEven though she shot this footage in HD it's authored to a normal DVD any interlacing should get taken care of by the DVD player or the Flat Panel HD TV and shouldn't show any interlacing correct? I only have a CRT HD TV and I never see any interlacing from my DVD's but I'm not 100% sure on a flat panel. You have to hit the FN key to enable exposé. In FCE? " If we play the clip by double clicking the clip in the browser it loads in the viewer not the canvas from the timeline that's what I mean. I Have not got to work with this camera but I believe she had shot her footage in 59.94 and her clips played in the viewer as if they were shot twice as fast. I'm meeting with her tomorrow and need a heads up on what might have been the problem. Problem is she is using FCE and could not find a set up to match footage.
