Re: Reconnect in FCP 6... one at a time - 16 years agoYep, ran into the same bug today myself. It was an older project that had been media managed to lo-res and then the media folder was moved. Hopefully this will be fixed soon as I don't really feel like renaming clips or jumping through hoops to make what should work, work.by G Inglis - The Bug Report Re: XDCam Transfer Software -- Trouble? - 17 years agoI believe the solution is in FCP user preferences to set your levels of undo to 99. Can't remember why but it works.by G Inglis - Café LA Re: XdCam Limitations and question re input - 17 years agoYeah I have read the Apple white papers and not found anything overly helpful, it is pretty basic information. I've worked out a way to use part of the file transfer process and do what I want (remember this is so we can work and output in SD but easily go back and output in HD. After struggling to get the workflow to, well, work I have come to the following understandings of the limitations of the format. Hopefully spelling these out will help some folks in a similar boat (funny the Sony sales folks didn't provide this information.) 1. If you want to work in FCP in HD but output to a DVCamby G Inglis - Café LA Re: HD Monitoring of FCP - 17 years agoFrom what I understand (I am in the process of getting a Kona card to improve my XdCam workflow also) unless you want to work in 2k the Kona LH has all the same capabilities except for Dual Link.by G Inglis - Café LA Re: Sweetening Voice Track Audio - 18 years agoAnother effect that is very powerful is the compressor. We run all our voice tracks through this and it makes for a profoundly better sound. Needs to be done with a light hand, however.by G Inglis - Soundtrack Pro |
