They have already decide to go the Premiere route and I am supposed to do a Final Cut X presentation in Berlin, Germany. Which was billed as.... "Final Cut Pro X Update Night" How did it go did any new Info come out about FCP X or was it just all show. The only info I found on line was that there was someone new from Apple doing a demo in FCP 1.0.3 And that there was nothing new what so ever? Is this correct? If I remember correctly problems included : Letters and spaces get jumbled up. It doesn´t seem to be so clear where the words start/end! Ditto where the spaces start and end! Then of course the whole thing gets pasted in backwards.... and Viola you get a crash. I know this is not the ansby paurray - Café LA - X Re: Problems with language recognition DVD player : SOLVED! - 12 years agoProblem solved I had Under Languages in the Overall Inspector English & German Selected For no apparent reason. Guess that I put the languages in on the first day and promptly forgot about them. Became suspicious when I tested and discovered that the DVD worked with French, Spanish, Italian etc but not with german. And I had this little german flag thing in DVD SP for no apparentby paurray - DVD Studio Pro Problems with language recognition DVD player - 12 years agoI have the following problem my dvd works in Apple DVD Player, VLC and 1 german and 1 english dvd player. The DVD consists of a menu and JPG as background (720times576) with 3 buttons, english, english with subtitles and german subtitles. All working fine. Working in Pal Land. Using last version of DVD SP Pro. (Shame on me I didn´t Cmd S) Also worked in another production house where things crashed and couldn´t open the Auto save File!!! I like the magnetic timeline (FCP was always very timeline STRONG) FCP X seesm to be basically turning weaknesses (inject/media management/tagging of material) into strengths (FCP figures out what is what) BUT imagine trying to understand the different MAGNETIC timeliness from 50 different editors in a large production house!!! Is all as of now a little bit vague but it looks like any thing from Baghdad in Iran too Guangzhou in China! Need to test it.... Any euphonix developers reading this? I have to admit that I am completely irational with respect to Lightworks. Lightworks was my first love and was the logical step for me from the flat bed film table into non Linear Editing. With that lovely one hand editing console!!!! It was great watching the mouths drop as I came with that argument. But for what you are doing they will suffice" main thing is that we can hear minor audio frame changes it doesn´t have to be perfect but that we can hear what is goby paurray - Café LA Reference Speakers for Training - 14 years agoHi, hi So I am training at a company in Berlin. Part of the program is that I do an audio work shop using a huge Sony HD TV and a logitec "Speaker System" for under 50? using the headphone socket on a laptop. Whilst demonstrating how to set the keyframes I literally couln´t hear more than a 6 frame shift! We are probably the largest and oldest user group in Europe! And we have a problem, again! Some of our users encounter a "malware" warning page when going to our site. OK so the site is based on Wordpress which has horrible security issues. And yes we have had malware before! We successby paurray - Café LA short cuts disappear in fcp 7? - 14 years agoHi All Several of us are losing short cuts here in Germany! The only solution that I have found to date is to save my Short Cuts as a "rescue" custom keyboard layout! Searched and didn´t find anything here so i thought that I would mention it.
