DVD Studio Pro: Specific problem. - 12 years agoHello, I have a very specific problem with DVD Studio Pro. I hope you guys can help me. Here it goes: I'm creating a SD DVD Menu. The menus are motion based (video background) with very simple overlays (just lines). The video backgrounds were exported through compressor as M2V using the preset (90min Best Q) and the overlays are PNGs. Apparently I'm doing everything OK. Keeping a clean video with a separate subtitle file. Also having a separate M&E on A3&4. Afterwards we found out this is exactly what the requirements were, so everything worked perfectly. Again, thanks to both of you.by i_valero - Café LA Re: Time Code output to D-5 and DigiBeta - 13 years agoAgain, thanks a lot Derek. Thanks to you I was able to prepare everything tonight and now hopefully everything will be on time.by i_valero - Café LA Re: Time Code output to D-5 and DigiBeta - 13 years agoWow that was quick! Thanks a lot Derek. I guess I can ask the festival which file format they need for the subtitles. But I'm hoping there's a standard format so I only have to do it once. Now I have one last question: What is the Title slate supposed to show? As in, what specific info should I put there? Thanks again!by i_valero - Café LA Time Code output to D-5 and DigiBeta - 13 years agoHello, I'm required to output my film to a D-5 tape and/or Digibeta and I have never done this. The Post person who is going to help me was able to tell me a bit about it on the phone but I will not be able to talk to him again until Wednesday and this is an urgent matter. I need to be clear on my workflow so that I don't waste any time, and that's why I need your help! Specially to Tom Wolsky because that little thing solved my whole problem. And sorry if my explanation wasn't detailed enough, I never meant HD to be a format, nor did I say anything about 1080, I just threw it out for if it had something to do with the computer's performance (or lack of it) being HD harder to handle... I suppose. Aby i_valero - Café LA Problem rendering, please HELP - 14 years agoHello everyone I'm new to Mac and Final Cut and a friend recommended me this website. I'd like to get some help because I'm having problems editing my shortfilm... Whenever I superimpose two video tracks in the timeline, I get the thin red line above, and I need to render it every time I change a single frame. By superimpose I mean having video tracks 1 and 2 with video at the same time.by i_valero - Café LA |
