Thanksby martinp - DVD Studio Pro video start, stop, freeze?? - 12 years agoDoes anyone know if its possible to place a video on a main menu.....when clicked it plays....(within the menu)...then freezes (or pauses - indefinately on the last frame of the video)? video footage is no problem....its the button, play, end pause that's puzzling me. Thanksby martinp - DVD Studio Pro Re: dvd scripting - 12 years agoThanks Hal, Very interesting idea. is there anyway i can have a look at your game....private message me?by martinp - DVD Studio Pro Re: dvd scripting - 12 years agoThanks again, Basically, the game format is like 'Open The Box' where they choose a box (numbered).... a short video is played showing whether its an empty box (lose) or a full box (win)....then it returns to the main screen and (somehow) the box (number) chosen is not seen (or able to be selected again). As long as it along the same lines as Open The Box, then i think our fundraisers will beby martinp - DVD Studio Pro Re: dvd scripting - 12 years agoThanks for the reply, I have a fairly good knowledge of scripting in DVD STUDIO pro 4.....but this one is baffling me! The dvd is a game for fundraising purposes. We do produce games for fundraising purposes and they are sold to local and regional charities and worthy causes for very minimal rates £2 to £5. There's limited profit (if any) in the dvd's but we are passionate about fundraby martinp - DVD Studio Pro dvd scripting - 12 years agoIve been seeking a solution to this for....ages! Hopefully someone can advise me if it is possible in DVD Studio Pro 4....... I have a main screen with 10 dvd films on it. When the user clicks a film it plays Once played it returns to the main screen BUT the video played has an 'X' through it. (or better still, its hidden. The user chooses another film and that ones plays.....then it retuby martinp - DVD Studio Pro Non Reapeat - 16 years agoDoes anyone know if it is possible to do a script than can choose a video at random and then play it.......but NOT play the same video again? I have been advised that it can be done. I'm using DVD Studio Pro 4by martinp - DVD Studio Pro Re: remembering quiz - 17 years agoAdolfo, I've used two scripts, one that automatically increments by one to move to the next question - and one that adds one to the script as a score. Its the scripting part thats troubling me! eg: If GPRM 3 = 1 then goto screen 1 If GPRM 3 = 2 then goto screen 2 If GPRM 3 = 3 then goto screen 3 etc.. GPRM 3 is the score script and it adds 1 to GPRM 3 everytime a question isby martinp - DVD Studio Pro remembering quiz - 17 years agoI've produced a quiz dvd and there are 12 questions on it. Each question is displayed and the user simply selects an answer. If correct answers = 12 then they WIN.....if not they can try the quiz again. Does anyone know if DVD Studio Pro 3 has the option to remember the number of correct answers and display that amount?? eg: "...You have X correct and X incorrect.." I've been given a project that requires images to move along a set path everytime they are selected. It sounds like a project that isn't posssible.... But i'm sure there maybe a way round it. Advise greatly appreciatedby martinp - DVD Studio Pro Re: deal or no deal - 17 years agoThanks for the info Hal. We are trying to develop the game format for a 'on-road' version (show) for fund raising events. The banker will be the compere, so this, in theory will solve the banker problem (as we will know beforehand how much is in each box and therefore make sensible/calculated offers). We would like to stick to a similar format as the current one, but we will have to change thiby martinp - DVD Studio Pro deal or no deal - 17 years agoDoes anyone know if its possible to do a dvd version of deal or no deal?by martinp - DVD Studio Pro |
