Rename Subtitle and Audio Tracks - 15 years agoHello, In DVDSP 4, is there a way to come up with a new name for a subtitle track or audio track? I see that there are many presets for every language in the world, but I want to come up with my own names that will appear on your TV screen while you toggle tracks. Press "M" once to set a marker but then press "M" again to open the window and then select "chapter marker".by Jesse Holland - DVD Studio Pro Re: I'm in aspect ratio Hell! - 15 years agoYou've tested it on more than one 4x3 TV, right?by Jesse Holland - DVD Studio Pro Pressing "Menu" While in a Menu - 15 years agoI can't figure out how to tell DVD Studio Pro to NOT jump to the last played track when you press "Menu" while in the Main Menu (specs say that if you have not yet played the movie that pressing "Menu" while in the Main Menu brings you to the start of the movie). I'm having problems hooking up the Quantam DLT-4000 device I bought to my G5. I made some progress today by successfully installing an SCSI card. In "About This Mac" next to PCI cards it now reads: pci9005,e2a0: Type: SCSI Bus Controller Driver Installed: No Bus: PCI Slot: SLOT-2 Vendby Jesse Holland - DVD Studio Pro Sudden Overlay and Image Quality Shift in Menus - 15 years agoI?ve been authoring DVDs for two years now, and operating out of my current authoring lab for 4 months. All of a sudden, with this one project, I?m having a frustrating menu problem. The symptoms of the problem are: 1. Overlays no longer match up, they?re WAY off, by about %10 of screen size 2. Big drop in image quality of menus, text looks like garbage. Now, a much more specific question: is it possible to adjust tracking in subtitles? I notice in the font palette, there is a triangle, a square, and a shaded square...but I can't get these to affect anything in my subtitles. The subtitles won't line up to my encoded feature. Sometimes they start out lining up then drift off; sometimes they start off, line up in the middle, and then drift off again. Currently they line up at the beginning and then get later and later aby Jesse Holland - DVD Studio Pro MPG and FCP - 16 years agoHi, So I have an MPG file. If you got to this track from the main menu, pressing menu should take you to the main menu. If you got to the same track from the chapters menu, pressing menu should take you back to the chapters menu. This is a problem that happens with both menus and layered menus. Sometimes my text has its edges cut off - say, the top most "line" of pixels.
