Help with fuzzy dvds - 13 years agoI made a very short animation in FCP using numerous stills from Photoshop that I need to play back as a continuous loop. While it doesn't look as sharp as I'd like, it's OK. I can make a reasonably acceptable Quick time movie using animation or no compression, but any combination of settings using compressor or Studio pro makes a very fuzzy, overly compressed image. I am using RGB in Photoshop. I have tried numerous tests at a variety of resolutions. Since I am working in NTSC, I have tried everything from 720x547 all the way to 1920x1080. I am using Uncompressed 10 bit project setting and I'm exporting to Quicktime Movie at the same setting. Thank you Ken Stone for suggesting that, which has helped a lot. (I have yet to atby CB - Café LA fuzzy resolution from files imported from Photoshop - 17 years agoI?m an artist and I?ve been making video?s that are comprised totally of stills I make in Photoshop from modified photographs. Each frame is slightly different, so that importing them in order gives the feeling of movement, much like a kid?s flip book. I know there are much easier ways to do the same thing, motion keyframes, After Effects, whatever, but I love the jerky quality I get so I don?tby CB - Café LA |
