Re: how big does an image need to be? - 15 years agoalso everything is widescreen. i am a little confused on to what size the image actually needs to be in photoshop so it won't lose resolution at all. an actual dimension would be perfect. thanks for the help. when i put the image in dvdsp it looks all smooshed. yet when i put another image in that one is fine. but i don't want that image! help? keatenby FunLand - DVD Studio Pro am i doing it right? - 15 years agoalright so my first snowboard feature is complete. its 21 minutes in length. i have probably like 10 minutes of bonus footage. i am just wanting to make sure i am doing everything right... so i exported using quicktime. it shows up as standard 4:3 even though i shot everything in widescreen. all my fcp settings are correct. so i go into quicktime pro and change it over to 853 by 480. is that tby FunLand - Café LA chapters? - 15 years agoi don't know if this should be in the dvd thread or here. but i have no idea how to produce chapters for my movie. is it done if fcp or dvd pro? how do i do it? i have yet to ever do it and need it done. help would be much appreciated. thanks keatenby FunLand - Café LA Re: exporting - 15 years agoi got it figured out. thanks guys. i just needed to change some settings in quicktime. the dimensions cause for some reason it doesn't recognize it. weird? however will this be fine playing on a 7 by 10 foot screen? its being projected. i am just a little worried it won't look so sharp. i played it on a pretty big screen today and it kinda got a little pixelated looking. i don't know if it was thby FunLand - Café LA Re: exporting - 15 years agothanks for the responses. as for right now i am using idvd. the guy that is working on the dvd menu isn't done yet. so i just need to print off a copy for this premiere. so when i am using quicktime to export i keep having issues. it won't print off as widescreen. what am i doing wrong? i tried a few different things. i went into custom settings and clicked anamorphic 16:9 and still it won't expoby FunLand - Café LA how big does an image need to be? - 15 years agoso i have never done a dvd menu before and i am taking a image i made from photoshop for the background. i just need to know how big does the image have to be so it won't lose quality? thanks, keatenby FunLand - DVD Studio Pro exporting - 15 years agoalright, so i just finished my first full length snowboard film and have no idea how to export it. my premiere is on wednesday night here in portland and i need to get this thing out. do i use compressor or what? i have only ever exported for web. never for a dvd. the film is about 20 minutes long. also half of the film is hd and its all widescreen. can someone please give me some settings? it woby FunLand - Café LA |
