A gift of Valentine's day : Skin Retouching filter - 19 years ago
Hi everyone, Although the Valentine's day is over, but our girl friends should don't mind to got this little present late=) This is a really simple plug-in. It only clean up the dark spot of the skin, and the overall sharpness are still remained. I think, every ladies should be happy with this kind visual effect. You know I have a similar case as you (even worst). My G5 get crash so often when run with the Adobe Illustrator. Finally, I found that the problem come from the old set of the USB mosue & keyboard (that original come with my G4). After I replace them to the new keyboard/mouse set that come with the G5 box, everything back to normal=) I don't know why but that is the fact. Good Luck, Antoby Antonio Hui - Café LA

Hi Graeme, Do you know does Aperture is scriptable ? I still using FCP/fxscript to process my still photos that all because its allowed me to do many automatic task that can't found in the rest of the world. or you may try this, a fxscript plug-in... ... That should be the simplest and neutral way for push up the dark image. However, I'm not sure, is it work with yuv space, since I wrote that for correcting the wedding photos that all in rgb mode. Good Luck, Antonioby Antonio Hui - Café LA

You may forget the most powerful text editor already come with every mac, "TextEdit". (in term of double byte character handling=) You should select those chinese characters from the "Character Palette" then drag & drop them into the TextEdit's window directly. You may try the FBX converter and the QT plug-in from Alias. They are free=) However, you do need a supported 3D program for import the Autocad file. For more clear, I created a 2 sec avi video file by using the pc version of Illusion 2.0 with the following spec. (PAL, 720 x 576, 25fps, with mainconcept DV codec 2.04,) You should found that the avi clip are natively work within the FCP timeline (PAL DV preset), and without any conversion is needed before you could output to video device in real time=) The only tradeoff is it don't have alphby Antonio Hui - Café LA

... But, the only chance is using a mac compatible avi codec, like the following, Please try the demo of dv codec. This is a possible way to solve the problem for exchange the media between pc and mac. By using those kind of codec the exported avi file are no needed to re-render before they could be edited in mac. I use their codec (DV & Motion-Jpeg) for export mostly. Have you change the default setting for the "Still/Freeze Duration" to 00:00:00:01(one frame) ? by doing this, all the import picture sequence will be charged. Of course, you need to re-import all the pics again. Hi Corbett, The TRUE image for video monitoring are using waveform monitor and vector scope. Please try to understand how they work. The software edition of them that come with the FCP are the good reference for all kind of video work. Like myself, I don't have money to buy the BTW class of monitor for home use but I do have a second hand Tektronix 2205 oscilloscope always linked with the videby Antonio Hui - Café LA

Hi Barrett, That is not a good idea when the exciting OS is being overwrite at the middle of the project. You better try to install the fresh OS on other partition or harddisk for troubleshooting. I always keep at least two active OS on every computers Good Luck Antonio Huiby Antonio Hui - Café LA
