Re: Completely confused by the STP interface - 13 years agoheya, you posted this a year ago but i just joined so i thought i'd answer there is a similar operation to FCP's copy and paste attributes, and that is STP's lift and stamp. select the lift tool (short cut 'uu') an ugly hud pops up called the sound palette check the box that says lift process effects (process effects include anything available under the process menu like your noise reby eli - Soundtrack Pro Re: Please Help...Noise reduction doesn't touch this - 13 years agosometimes NR just doesn't cut it. if you open the file in the file editor (ie double click to make it full screen) then switch the view to spectrum instead of frequency (top right above the mini waveform view), you may be able to detect the affected frequencies visually and notch them out with an EQ. the spectrum view is quite cool and can be tweaked to zoom in to certain frequencies or swiby eli - Soundtrack Pro Re: Doing noise reduction on one channel = delay?!! - 13 years agohey casey, looks like you found an awesome bug! if you select one channel and noise reduce it, the other channel slips out of sync! what a trip! did you figure out a workaround?by eli - Soundtrack Pro Re: Trouble exporting Soundtrack Pro AAF to Pro Tools - 13 years agohiya, probably a bit late to the party here - but sometimes you can look in the destination audio folder to see how far the process gets with the conversion before it hits the problem file.
