Compressor Job Chaining - 15 years ago
I am studying Compressor 3 online and have run into the "job chaining" section. Is there an easy description of what chaining's purpose is? I understand how to job chain, somewhat. The reason for using "job chaining" is confusing. Thanks Carlby Carl - Café LA

I found out that by changing the compressor, as in DV/DVCPRO to Animation, it changes the drop down menu. Each compressor has different RT availabilities. Thanks for responding. Carl flaggmedia.comby Carl - Café LA

Sometimes I shoot movies on my sony DSC-1. When I import the MPG into FCP6 it does not keep the audio. I have opened this with quicktime and tried saving it as a movie, but the audio does not seem to link to the movie. Any suggestions on importing this to FCP6? Thanks Carlby Carl - Café LA

Hello again, When I was editing, the RT drop down in the time line which offers 15 options changed when I opened another sequence to about half the choices in the drop down menu. I have read through most of the RT options in the manual and cannot find the command to make the RT go back to the "normal" 15 options drop down. I am confused. I have a USB M-Audio Keystation 49e that works fine in Garageband. When I try to use the USB M-Audio Keystation 49e in Soundtrack Pro, I can get no sound through the software. I have tried many different approaches including configuring the device in Audio MIDI Setup. What is stopping me from using Soundtrack Pro 2.0.1 with this USB M-Audio Keystation 49e. Sometimes I do not want the audio to be used with the video when I place it in the timeline. Is there a step I can do to stop dragging the audio with the video or do I always have to unlink them in the timeline then delete the audio. Thanks Carlby Carl - Café LA

I have finished editing a movie. I have in the past printed the video to tape from my other edit system but for some reason, I cannot do so with this movie on this G3 with 10.4.9. I do get the machine to record and the movie plays but the video and audio does not make it through the firewire. Any thoughts... anyone? I am sending it to mini-dv. I am learning the DVD 4 through Peach Pit. When it gets to the section of linking the Play Video button to the movie or track, all is fine. The book does not seem to relay how to link the menu button to the Main Menu. How do I link the menu button to the main menu? Thanksby Carl - DVD Studio Pro

I have a Dual 2.3 G5. FCut Studio will not open. I do get a chance to reopen it but then get this message below. What is the solution? How do I open this software?
