Rotate Video Challenge - 1 year agoFiLMiC Pro footage from an iPhone B camera somehow ended up rotated sideways. Not the same as vertical video. I can fix this type of thing in iOS Photos with a few taps. Amazingly, rotating a video has become an endeavor! Tried Quicktime Player (v10.5), which seemed easy to setup, ended up exporting a new video which took 30 minutes on a new M1 MacBook Air. I've tried multiple methods and it's surprising how such a simple tweak has become so complex! I would ideally like to rotate the video without recompressing it, therefore avoiding conversion time. Retaining metadata would be nice. Methods I've tried: 1. From what I can recall in my sound class in film school, the closer you can get to peak levels without crossing into peak distortion, the better. Would you agree with that assessment?
