Re: Video Bit Rate too High Error - 15 years agoI tried the standard bit rate and then slid the bar over to the smallest bit rate. The sequence was exported in Final Cut using Quicktime H.264 compression.by interstate - DVD Studio Pro Video Bit Rate too High Error - 15 years agoNo matter what bit rate i select i get this error. I am burning SD with only 1.1 Gig used on a regular DVD. Any thoughts? Thanks, Ryanby interstate - DVD Studio Pro When I create final dvd my footage appears with lines? I think its an interlace issue. - 15 years agoMy final always appears blocky with lines. It appears to be done progressive yet when I have action shots or slow motion it looks like 2 frames interlaced. What settings should I check in Final Cut/Compressor/DVD Pro? Thank you, Ryanby interstate - Café LA Re: Can't see the Library or Inspector Menu's in Motion - 15 years agoOkay did it again and that worked...THANKS SO MUCH! Ryanby interstate - Motion Re: Can't see the Library or Inspector Menu's in Motion - 15 years agoAlready did that. Ryanby interstate - Motion Can't send Clips from FC to Motion- Freezes - 15 years agoFor some time know I have not been able to send sequences from Final Cut to Motion 3.0. It will just freeze at the opening of Motion. I also noticed when I open Motion, I can not get view to show the inspector or library. The timeline and project pane work though. Thanks, Ryanby interstate - Café LA Need Post Clean up of Wind and Airplane Noise - 15 years agoCan anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on minimizing wind noise. I also need to clean up some airplane noise. Not sure if this would be different technic? I am using Soundtrack Pro...by interstate - Soundtrack Pro Re: Blu-Ray Burn Option - 15 years agoSo I do not need a special HD burner, just HD-DVD's?by interstate - Café LA Blu-Ray Burn Option - 15 years agoDoes apple have an option to burn HD or Blu-ray discs? I see the drop down in Compressor, but am curious what is needed to make this happen. Also, when capturing the HD footage from my Canon Camera, does the 442 Pro Res or Apple Intermediate Codec give me the best quality. Thanks, Ryanby interstate - Café LA Re: Log and Transfer (Why Doesn't Scene/Shot/Take info go into name?) - 16 years agoI have the HG10 and it uses USB not Firewire. When I try Log and Capture, it doesn't see my camera. I think because it is not firewire with device control. Any thoughts. Merry Christmas, ryanby interstate - Café LA Log and Transfer (Why Doesn't Scene/Shot/Take info go into name?) - 16 years agoOn HDV I have to log and transfer. I appreciate apple putting all the scene/shot/take/angle info in the interface. But it appears that only the name info carries to the bin. This seems kind of silly. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Ryanby interstate - Café LA Re: "AVCHD" Can this Codec go direct to Final Cut? - 16 years agoOkay so I bought the Sony HDR-SR7 last night and you were correct, but 2 big problems: 1. There is no firewire and I am unable to set In-n-Out points on the files from the hard drive. So if the shot was 30 min. I have to capture the whole thing! 2. The software that comes with the camera for Media Management tools does not work on Apple...yikes. Thanks, Ryanby interstate - Café LA Re: Hard Drive or Tape (What is the future for camera's?) - 16 years agoThe reason I picked this forum is because I am concerned with post production ease and workflow. Thanks for writting though.by interstate - Café LA Hard Drive or Tape (What is the future for camera's?) - 16 years agoI am in the market for a consumer hd camera and need to decide if I want hard drive or tape format. I will be using the footage in Final Cut. I am trying to find out what is easiest and which direction the industry is headed. If I go hard drive some questions come to mind: 1. Can I dump the footage directly into Final Cut or do i have to process it (how long is that take)?by interstate - Café LA |
