Re: Audio out of sync when returning to FCP - 13 years agoWhat are the current settings in your export? If your sample rate is different than the source sample rate, you can get sync problems. Make sure you're not exporting at 44.1khz sample rate. Hope this helps! barreltoneby barreltone - Soundtrack Pro Re: Noise removal for entire clip - 13 years agoHighlight the noise-only section to make the noise print. Then select the entire clip to reduce noise on everything. Be sure to preview the noise reduction on the dialog, and tweak settings to find the right balance and amount of reduction.by barreltone - Soundtrack Pro Re: Not able to export on Soundtrack Pro? - 13 years agoDid you bring the audio into STP using "send to" in FCP? If you did, when you save the file, the FCP timeline should show the STP audio clip in the timeline, replacing the audio you sent. If you didn't use that function or if that's not working, do a save or save as for the audio file project, then you can bring that file into FCP. You should see a much brighter line where the bell occurs. You can actually select the line representing that tone and delete it. Depending on the overtones, it may not delete completely, and it will influence the sound of anything else during that time, but it also may help. Good luck! Mattby barreltone - Soundtrack Pro Re: Cleaning the "S" noisy sound - 14 years agoSTP has a de-esser effect. If you're in audio file mode, click the Process menu, select effects, then select specialized, and de-esser. I usually start with a center frequency of 4khz, but the exact frequency band will vary depending on the speaker. Hope this helps!by barreltone - Soundtrack Pro Re: Exporting AIFF issue - 14 years agoI realize this is a pretty stale post by now, but if you or anyone else is still having the problem, it may be that your Submix output is set to surround. If so, it'll say 1-6 at the bottom of the channel strip in the mixer for that Submix. STP will export it as a 6-channel audio file, which I know iTunes doesn't like. Change the submix output to stereo (1,2), and it should export in stereo,by barreltone - Soundtrack Pro |
