Re: Can I Reposition An Image Mask? - 18 years agoThanks Scott and Kevin for your replies. I ended up applying the mask in Photoshop and importing a modified image and using that. Kevin, I agree with your "I wish" completely. Thanks also for the travel matte tip too!by Gary Sumlak - Café LA Re: Can I Create the PS Exclussion Effect in FCP - 18 years agoI am trying that, but I am having difficulty working my head around how to apply what PS says. I have tried different options with the Difference mode, and the closet I get is a strange looking negative. Not at all what I am looking for. The effect I had using Exclusion resulting in only hi contrast area getting the Negative effect and the rest of the image was untouched. The couple is not in the center of the clip. I tried using the Image Mask effect, but heart mask I added appears only over the center of the clip, and not over the couple. Is there a way to reposition the mask so that I the heart is over the off-center couple? I would like to do this in FCP, but as there is no Exclusion composite mode, and I have not been able to figure out a way to simulate the effect. i.e. Start on the "Exclusion" image and then cross fade to the originalby Gary Sumlak - Café LA Re: Can I Lock a Singel Key Frame Property?? - 18 years agoThanks Jude & Derek!! The Shift+mouse key is exactly what I needed - although, I am sure I will find a use for the Option+arrow key soon. Using the Shift+mouse sped up my process immensely - I did 145 keyframes on a 90 minutes clip in just a little over 2 hours!!! When I did the first one hour clip (part 1 of 3), it took almost 4!. BTW - I searched for EVERY occurrence of SHIFT in the onby Gary Sumlak - Café LA |
