But I only want random motion in the positive z direction. I even tried the negate or reverse algorithm to have random motion only in the positive z and not the negative z direction. I have a G5 and would like to edit with it - 12 years agoI use a G5 with 10.411, FCP 6.02, and honestly, it I had a choice I would upgrade to a 12 core Mac Pro, if I could. Don't dis the Mac, IMHO FCP is the Best editing software for video media out there. It's just that FAT 32 is readable by both Mac and PC; but the 4G limit per file can not be broached. You can still have 3 or 4 1.5G files on a FAT 32 drive. If the QT is over 4G, it will not fit on a FAT32 formatted stick. My test clips has a 115% speed increase with a corresponding AuPitch of -275 to speed up the clip but lower the pitch afterwards. When I right-click on the test clip, I can copy the filter to all the others via copy-paste attribute-audio filters.
