Join FCP Gurus Tara Veneruso , KD Gulko Noah Kadner and Andrew Balis, as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning FCP. If they can't solve your problem or answer your How 2, then you go home with a problem but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

"One of our key jobs at Flaming Angel Films is creating demo reels for actors and crew people from all over the country.
There is definitely an art to making demo reels and working with clients on that very specific genre."

Using this as visual aid, Director/Editor Tara Veneruso will give us a primer on making DVDs for those of us who don't specialize in making DVDs.

Our good friend Wes Plate of Automatic Duck will fly down from Seattle and show off the latest and greatest versions of Pro Import and Export FCP

This is a chance to hang out and meet and greet and get your problems solved. Lots of Gurus come to lafcpug meetings.Michael Buday of syncVUE will be in the lobby demoing.Larry Jordan will be in the lobby showing off all his DVDs and Books and talking about his upcoming tour. Snacks and Beer and Wine will be on sale in the lobby. Proceeds go to the Gallery Theater.

8:45PM - 9:10PM -Creating DVD Motion Menus with LiveType - Larry Jordan
FCS Guru Larry Jordan will show us a simple techniques on how to make DVD Motion Menus using LiveType.

9:15PM - 9:40PM -Creating HD DVDs - Bruce Nazarian
"DVD Guy" Bruce Nazarian will show us how to make HD DVDs using DVD Studio Pro.

9:40PM - 9:55PM - "3-D Film Festival - Les Perkins- Show and Tell
Editor Les Perkins will show us the trailer he made for the upcoming 3D Film Fest to be held at the Egyptian Theatre in Sept. Les will also show us trailers from the classic s, "It Came From Outer Space" and "The Maze" 3D glasses will be handed out.
