Can't get rid of exclamation mark ! in yellow triangle !

I don't know what I did. There's an exclamation mark in my canvas window that won't go away. Also a little ways in my time line, a check mark in a green circle appears. IT won't go away either, except when I play the movie. But then they come back again in the canvas window. They drive me nuts. Then there is a pulsating red fiels of diagonal lines that appears sometimes too. I did everything but re-upload my FCP and they won't go away. Is this serious or will these symbols go away someday? LOL

Go to the view menu, turn range check off.

The icon means you have "illegal" luma or chroma levels. Unless you are going to broadcast, you can probably ignore this. If you want to fix it, use a "broadcast legalizer" filter or use the color corrector while looking at your scopes.

Wow! Thanks for the tip. I would've never found it. I was searching through the manuals like crazy and ... nothing. I just did it and both the exclamation mark and the check mark disappeared from the canvas. Thanks again.

Yep. You likely typed CNTRL+Z instead of CMD + Z when you wanted to Undo.

You must be a Windoze guy, no? ;-)

They always make that mistake!
