35mm telecined to DVCam workflow

Hi all,

Just a quick question to make certain that I'm heading in the right direction. I have DVCam transfer tapes of a 35mm short I did. I should capture this just like I would any normal 30p DVCam tape (Capture DV NTSC 48kHz) and THEN remove the pulldown in Cinema tools once I have it in the system, correct?

Are you using this to produce a cut list? If so, then yes.

Yup...

Take you ALE or Flex File from your Telecine and import it into CT, then use CT to create your batch list. Import your batch list in FCP. Digitize at 29.97. Reverse telecine in CT to 23.98. Reconnect your clips in FCP. Sync your sound (conform for correct rate) and your good to go.
