DV PAL ..animation codec output for NTSC DVD ?

we have long project which is edited in DV PAL ( shot with pana DVX in 25 P) We need to make a NTSC Dvd .
in case if we render animation codec and output as QT movie then NTSC MPEG2 via Compressor..is that worth . any opinion on this as the project is long ur opinion is highly appreciated ...thanks

You can't do it that way. The framing and the cadece will be all wrong. Just because the quality is higher, doesn't mean that the conversion will be better.

You really need to get the Standards Converter from www.nattress.com. $100 but WELL worth it.

How long is the conversion time on this isn't it like 10 to 20 to 1?
is it faster in Standards Converter from www.nattress.com?

Compressor is about 30 to 40 times slower at doing a decent standards conversion than my plugin for FCP.
