Can't capture

Hi,
I am having trouble capturing, it says dropped frames were detected during the last capturing...

I tried RT setting to safe instead of unlimited and delete user preferences.



Pleaes help.

Are you capturing from an analog medium such as VHS ?
You may need a TBC to correct your video.

Need more information. What are your hardware and software settings? Capture and Device Control Presets? Version of Final Cut Pro? How does the machine behave when initiating capture?

Since we don't know the format you are using it is hard to determine which issue is causing the problem. Most dropped frame issues are caused by ineffective disk bandwidth. Tell us about your system, capture setup and format - spill it all for us!
