Day For Night Plugin

Hello everyone, my question today is. Can any recommend a good Day for night Plugin. I found one from river rock Studios, and it works well, but the only problem I have is the sky. it still to hot, I sure I can fix it, photoshop, or AE but is there a faster easier way to deal with this problem. You don't always need a plugin. You can do a respectable job with the three-way color corrector gray slider and any of the color tools. This is the Photoshop version:

Yes, hot skies are a problem and you can a gradient effect to help with that although I've never done that particular trick in FCP.

You can't do this with a plugin, but the big kids really push the effect over the edge by painting light in windows of the house.
