another jpeg/fcp question

I use jpeg end frames on ads and at times I get a flicker cross disolving from digi beta to jpeg end frame. It is a random thing but consistant - Can it be a field thing? How can I get rid of this flicker? Why does it only happen now and then? Are there any articles on fields, field dominance and the like? Thank you
