dvcam dv

Can anyone tell me why my Print to Video command sometimes instructs a DSR 11 to run at DV Cam speed, and not DV, hence only 40 mins of tape?? Is this a setting on the deck or within FCP. Chris Rawlence.

This has nothing to do with FCP; it's the deck. Hope you still have your remote for the DSR-11, because I'm fairly sure that's the only way to get at the setting:

Menu - VTR - REC MODE. Set it to DV SP instead of DVCam.
