Hi guys

I have just been told about a possible virus/trojan threat for iChat users called Leap-A.

Looked it up and the BBC have an article on it here:

The Washington Post has mention of one as well. They appear to be different.

(You may not be able to read that one. Let me know.)

Leap A (Oompa Loompa) is not quite as scary as it sounds.

It takes a fair bit of trying to get it started, but it's still a nasty thought.

Remember that if you are about to panic and install lots of anti-virus apps (as many will afer hearing about this) that anti-virus checking can interfere with capturing video, as they want to check for virus as you capture, and jam up the process. Turn off virus checks when capturing.

By the way, there is also a new Bluetooth worm out this week, but Apple provided a fix for this possibility last June, so if you are up to date with your software, no need to worry.
