down-converting in FCP

Working on a big project that is shooting on DVCPRo50 at 24p.
We realize now that we should have had the footage downconverted to NTSC 30fps in-camera.
I'm curious if there is a way to convert existing footage that has already been captured from 24p to NTSC 30fps within FCP.
We still have a lot more to shoot and would like to continue with in-camera downconverts to 30fps.
So - I will be left with 2 formats - some footage shot and captured at 24p, and some down-converted in camera to 30.

any suggestions?

this is for spots to be broadcast at 30fps so there really isn't a need for the 24p other than the great quality.

Hello, Mox.
The term "downconversion" applies to converting HD material to SD. That is not your case. You only need to add a pull-down pattern to your 24P SD material, which by the way was the original situation and was removed when you brought it into FCP (because all NTSC material is originated using 29.97, and then the additional frames are removed for 24P). I have no idea how you add pull-down in FCP, because I live in a PAL country. Anyone?
