TEXT SETTINGS question

I would like to resize the TEXT box in the controls so I can see the lines I am writing.
I have been able to stretch it side ways but I would like to make the entire box any size I want up down and left right so I don't have to guess how it will fit on the video screen.

And do the UNDOs work when in the text settings?
I don't mean the size tracking ect i mean when you type and make a mistake.

Can this be done please?
