HDV & SD same timeline problems.

We have a 2 hr long documentary currently being cut.

About 45 min of the footage is shot on a Panasonic DVX-100 SD camera and over an hour of the final video is shot with a Sony-HZ 1 HDV camera.

I am receiving reports that the SD footage looks pixelated on an HD monitor and just horrible.

I know and understand that HDV is 1440X1080 lines and the SD is 720X480. Can I fix this in FCP or another program?

Have any of you experienced anything like this.
Are there any solutions out there to improve this problem by either up rezing the SD to HDV?

My final output is HDV.

FCP 5.
OSX 10.4.6
Dual 2.0 g5

Thank you.

THANK YOU

Wow! $99.00 plugin makes it completely unnecessary to purchase HD camera. Just use old reliable DV camera for TRUE HD?
