Mbox for FCP voice over not recognized

In the past, I've gotten my Mbox to work with FCP to record voice overs, but for some reason lately I can't get my Mbox to be recognized by FCP5. Actually, the mac won't recognize it for any app. I've downloaded the latest digidesign core audio utility. I believe the older digidesign core audio control panel let me tweak some IO settings, but now when I click on it, it does nothing. Am I missing some new USB driver? I've looked everywhere. If anyone has some ideas, I'd be so grateful!

I too am having problems with a 002 - it seems that there ar MAJOR issues with the new core audio driver from Digi - I suggest you head over to their support forums at duc.digidesign.com and see how you go there.

Can I also say that my problems magically disappeared one day - not quite sure why but my guess is a Quicktime update actually fixed the issue.

The core audio driver had major clashes with one of the versions of QT 7.0.? 0 so I would make sure you are up to date with that also.
