Royalty free map to use on video project

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any royalty-free maps that can be used on video productions. For instance...I need a map to show the relation between Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota ("It's just a short two-hour drive directly east of Minneapolis"winking smiley.

This video is for mass distribution, so I don't want to just copy any old thing I find on the internet.

Is there a site that does this? I tried searching, but didn't find much. What do TV stations use?

Thanks!
Casey

The Perry-Castañeda collection at UT is a great resource. All the maps in their collection are in the public domain unless marked otherwise.

Hey jeff,
Cant you use a google map if the map is referenced? Some what like famous quotes are done in writing.

""" What you do with what you have, is more important than what you could do, with what you don't have."

""""

That's a question for Google, or for a lawyer.

The almost-always-correct answer is no, you can't use somebody else's stuff even if you attribute it.

Just found this out today- it's likely not what you're looking for, only satellite view. So you'd have to draw in the cities.
