jumpy stills and out of focus

I have been reading old post on this issue and it seamed no one came up with a solution. My system was working fine just like Chet Simmons and then I started having problems. I have output to tape and DVD and the problem still exists. When using graphics that are not 720x480 in the timeline they go out of focus and jump. Did andyone figure this out?

Did you thread the projector correctly?

Just kididng.

What format are they? The best candidates for native FCP mo-co are PSD and TIFF. Too many artifacts in JPEG compression, unless very high quality-- (and then why compress in JPEG?)

Also, make sure they're RGB colorspace.

As for focus, check to see if a Gaussian Blur filter has been applied.
