Post Production Representation

Are there any companies out there that rep Editors? I mean ICM and other companies like that rep Directors and Actors, how about some Reps for us post production guys with talented reels looking to expand our clientele but have limited access to potential clients.

Many full service (FS) talent agencies handle Editors. Thing is, they generally find you rather than you finding them.

Being on a project that wins and actually having your NAME on the statue are 2 different beasts. Were you photographed actually accepting / holding an Oscar?

Isn't that what counts to an Agent - DA HARDWARE??



When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.

Documentary contributors don't get named on the statue, only in the Oscarcast-- as I was. And yes, 1981 was the only win. Along with two nominations and three student Oscars-- all over the last 20 years. If more people trusted my judgement I'd have more clients to brag about!

So yeah, it annoys... but then, think of all the careers I helped start-- 2/3rds of whom still give me business! Not too shabby.

I should get a rep. I want to tackle more features.
