FCP 7 record to P2?

Hey Guys,

Trust you're all doing well..
I am trying to find out about recording BACK to P2 from FCP 7. We are due to make two shows, one in PAL, and one in NTSC. These need to be delivered to client, stations, etc.
We do have a full Panasonic P2 recorder, that has I think either Firewire or HD SDI inputs. Could I record the whole show in either standard directly off of FCP's timiline as in SHARE, onto the P2 recorder in DVCPRO HD (1080i50 or 60?).. If so, how does one do this?

NB.. This is not a camera we are recording to, it it a deck...

Well, what you do is connect the P2 reader...is this the P2 Gear or the big P2 Mobile?...via firewire to the computer. Then choose the Easy Setup that matching your timeline settings, including playout via firewire. Then you press PLAY on the timeline and RECORD on the P2 deck. This will then make a clip much like shooting with a camera would. I'm sure there are some settings in the deck to set, but I'm not sure what they are...
