Time clock stap on DVD output?

Hi all,
I need to include burnt-in time codes in the top right hand corner over a finished DVD production for review purposes. The project is made up of several sequences, in FCP individually rendered to mp2 and put together as chapters in DVD studio pro.
Can anybody tell me how to do this, either in FCP sequencewise, or in studio pro over the finished article?

Thanks!

Nest your timelines in a new timeline in FCP and apply a timecode reader or timecode generator filter (depending on what you need) to the entire clip(s).

Then render, then export for DVD as per normal.

QT SYNC is a great app for adding TC burn. Or workflow is as follows:

Export a self contained QT movie of your sequence. (this GUARANTEES that you will be able to open it days/weeks down the road if you need to go back and reference the cut)

Open the new QT movie in QT SYNC and add the TC burn (you can pick size and location) (keep in mind you will need to know the starting TC number - if it is different than 1 hour)

Save that as a QT reference movie (it's only referencing two files - the self contained QT file and the newly created TC track)

Take the new reference movie into compressor and make your MPEG for DVD.

This process is much faster than having to render a nested sequence with the FCP filter - especially if you have to make approval copies with TCB of an online/uncompressed project. To give you an idea, we can make a DVD of our 1 hour show in about 45 minutes! The old way took about 2 hours!

Hope this helps.
