Please Help! Export Quicktime Movie for Avid

I have a FCP 5.1 PAL DV project that I need to export for Avid Nitrous. The post facility only has Avid and they are going to output the project from the Avid to Hi-Def.

What is the optimal QT format (or any other format for that matter) to output from FCP for the Avid Nitrous? They have no PAL DV or DigiBeta decks so the facility requested I bring the file on an external FW drive.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

I beleieve you need the Avid quicktime codec which is avialble somewhere on the Avid web site

Do a search on this forum for Avid Codec

I downloaded the codec "AvidCodecsLE.pkg" and installed the package. Unfortunately, the new Codec did not appear when I went to Export - Quick Time Movie. What am I doing wrong?
