Problem with 5.1 sync.

I was working in 4.5 and 5.0. We upgraded to 5.1 and the video is now is out of sync. I played with the audo settings and I got it to work. I turn off the machine. Turned it back on an hour later and it went out of sync again.

How about some information: Computer specs, format, what your setup is, how your monitoring your footage, etc.

I think it is a problem with the preference settings. I trashed to old ones and it seams to be working. However, the other day I got it to work. Turned off the computer. Went away for a few hours, came back, turned it on and it was out of sync again. I played with the prefrence settings again and got it to work. I am working on a G-5. 2.5g memory. Tiger (I upgraded everything except FCP 5.1.2 At the last FCP meeting it was said to hold off on that.
Any insite?
