Updating from FCP 5.0.4

Updating from FCP 5.0.4

Perfectly happy with 5.0.4, but for future reference where can I update to 5.1? Do I have to pay for the 5.1 update or is it available somewhere on the Apple site for free? I know the 5.1.2 update was released a couple weeks ago and had some issues.

You have to pay for it:

You have until December to get it at the cheap upgrade price. After that it will be full price only.

I believe the update to 5.1.x is free to registered users of 5.0.4.

Nope, you got to pay for it via the crossgrade.
